The Trinity
We believe in one eternal God who exists in loving relationship as Father, Son and Holy Spirit - one God in three persons, as God has revealed through His word and as the church has confessed in the Nicene and Apostle's Creeds.
Predestination
We believe that God is absolutely sovereign, and predestines all things in accordance with His will.
Grace Alone
We believe that we are saved from sin and judgement by grace alone. Our salvation is a gift from God, not something that we have earned. Therefore, no one can boast about their salvation but rather receive it with humility and thanksgiving.
Faith Alone
We believe that we are made right with God (justified) through faith in Jesus Christ. We are not made righteous through our own works, but only through trusting in what Jesus has done for us through His death and resurrection.
Christ Alone
We believe that only Jesus Christ can save us from our sins and bring us back to God. Dying for us, he took the punishment for our sins; rising again, he gave new life to those who trust in Him. He is the way, the truth and the life, and no one can come to the Father, except through Him.
Bible Alone
We believe that all of the Bible is God's living word for us and is sufficient in clearly teaching us how we can be saved through Jesus and how to live God's way. We believe that God speaks to us through the Bible and that any other claims of truth must always be tested against what the Bible says.
Glory to God Alone
We believe that God is worthy of all honour, glory and praise. God first created us so that we would worship Him. He has now called us out of darkness and back into His wonderful light so that we might worship Him again, declaring His praises, honouring His name and living for His glory.
